Ed Donley Distinguished Graduate Award

The Lawrence Technological University Alumni Association annually honors one male and one female graduating student for excellence in academic, community, and campus leadership.  In 2002, to honor the extraordinary leadership and philanthropic contributions of Ed Donley, ME’43, the Lawrence Technological University Alumni Association renamed the award to the Lawrence Technological University Alumni Association Ed Donley Distinguished Graduate Award.

Lawrence Tech's faculty and staff are invited to submit nominations for the award; students may nominate themselves or a fellow graduating student. Awardees will be selected according to the following criteria:

  1. GPA
  2. Employment experience
  3. Involvement in professional, civic, or social organizations
  4. Extracurricular activities
  5. Life experiences

Submit nominees no later than 5 p.m.on Friday, April 1, 2016 using the official nomination form. Nominations will not be accepted after the deadline.

The Board of Directors for the Alumni Association of Lawrence Technological University will determine the final candidates.  Recipients of the award will receive a 10 kt. Gold Signet Ring courtesy of Balfour Artcarved Rings, and recognition at the President's Banquet on April 20, 2016.
